Colt Model 1911A1 S/N 802736 - This pistol was manufactured in 1941 but delivered in 1942. It has no inspection or acceptance marks. Pistol was shipped either July 25, 1942 or August 3, 1942 to the Commanding Officer, Springfield Armory.

Left side of receiver lacks an inspector mark.

There is no ordnance wheel on the rear right side of the frame.

Matching serial number under firing pin stop.

P proof on top of the slide forward of the rear sight.
